I am an experienced notary public based in Birmingham city centre. I have notarised many kinds of business and private documents, including powers of attorney, deeds of assignment in trade mark matters, passport copies and Companies House documents.

Notaries are internationally recognised public officers whose notarial acts are accepted by courts, registries and many other bodies worldwide.

Great care and attention to detail are essential at every stage to minimise the risks of errors, omissions, alterations, fraud, forgery, money laundering, the use of false identity, and so on.

Requests from a notary for information and supporting documentation to help prepare the notarisation may seem onerous; however, they are essential to assist the me in meeting my responsibilities and ensure the credibility of the notarisation.

Legalisation/Apostille

The purpose of legalisation/apostille is to verify my signature and seal as a notary before the notarised document can be accepted overseas.

Mobile Notary

If your location is within a reasonable travel distance from my office, I may be able to attend you in lieu of an appointment at my office.

My mobile notary service is offered during normal business hours; however, in matters of extreme urgency or other exceptional circumstances I may be able to travel to you outside of these hours.

This service attracts additional charges and I urge you to contact me for further information.

My name is Luke Simms. I qualified as a notary public in 2006. Having practised in the City of London and surrounding areas for more than a decade, I gained extensive experience in general notarial practice, with a particular focus on commercial matters.
